Easter & Associates welcomes new buyers at our auctions! Before attending, please be sure to familiarize yourself with the terms and conditions that apply to anything we sell at auction. Terms & Conditions

Everything is sold as-is, where-is with no warranties (written or implied).  Buyers shall rely entirely on their own judgment and inspection of property. Items are not guaranteed to be of any particular age, year of manufacture, model, make or condition.  Information on printed material and website, though deemed to be accurate, is not guaranteed. Any statements on condition of an item is given as a courtesy to the public.  It is only an opinion & should not be treated as a statement of fact. Easter & Associates shall have no responsibility for any error or omission. Whether present at the auction or absentee bidding, it is the buyer’s/bidders responsibility to inspect the merchandise being offered, and to verify the accuracy of all statements.

Both buyer and seller acknowledge that they and their property are at the auction site at their own risk. No person shall have any claim against Easter & Associates, their auctioneers,  agents, employees or principals for any injuries sustained nor for damages to or loss of property which may occur from any cause whatsoever. All announcements form the auction block will take precedence over  any printed materials. Food, beverages and restrooms are typically available onsite.

Payment Terms

Complete payment is due the day of sale. No property to be removed until settled. All funds must be verified before merchandise can be released. Easter & Associates accepts cash, Visa, Mastercard and Discover. Checks from a customer and account already known to Easter & Associates shall be accepted.  All other checks will only be accepted with a bank letter of guarantee.  Please have proper photo identification with you. Absentee bidders must set up an account with Easter & Associates at least 48 hours prior to the auction.

Q. Do you accept absentee bids?
A. Absentee bids by phone will be allowed for certain items. Buyers must arrange the telephone bidding at least 48 hours prior to the auction by calling 402-297-1212. Absentee bids by phone will be charged a buyer’s premium of 15% or $75, whichever is less.

Q. What does a bank letter of guarantee need to include?
A. A personal or company check will be accepted only when accompanied by a bank letter guaranteeing payment. This letter must be on  bank letterhead and must state (1) that payment is guaranteed; (2) that the guarantee is valid for 30 days after receipt in the sales office; and (3) that the guarantee covers the entire purchase from Easter & Associates, Inc. The letter must be signed by a bank official authorized to guarantee payment. Easter & Associates reserves the right to hold merchandise until such time the Bank Letter of Guarantee can be verified.
